This series of 12 portraits with black silkscreen and silver paint on canvas was created from an order for Vanity Fair. Based on a photo, Warhol created a varied collection based on the solarizations that Man Ray made popular. The full-page images are reproduced in large format and, thanks to their sophisticated printing technique and attractive subject, are well suited to the frame.
