20 BMW Art Cars have been created with different artists of varying mediums. BMW Group has given artists the opportunity to express their fascination with cars via the BMW Art Cars, combining art and design, technology and innovation, racing and engineering.\ Jenny Holzer was tasked with creating the 15th, and placed her Truism "Protect Me From What I Want' on the car. The provocative message glare at the beholder from the otherwise white bodywork of the 15th Art Car. Instead of chrome, a light and shiny foil was used for the lettering to avoid increasing the weight of the BMW V12 LMR. 1:43 model, comes housed in a clear display with black stand and box.
