This 2 book set is housed within a grey folder and was published on occasion of the designers exhibition at the Tokyo Museum of Contemporary Art in September 1990. The first book looking at the then groundbreaking new pleating design from Miyake and the second featuring the perfect Irving Penn photographs of each of Isseys first "Pleats Please" garments together with a poem by Shuntaro Tanikawa.
