Daido Moriyama's debut photobook, originally published in 1968, reissued recently in 2018. On invitation of Japanese writer Shuji Terayama, Moriyama began photographing members of a traveling theater group, adding shots of dwarf show dancers, strip clubs, street performers, fetuses in formaldehyde containers and other motifs. This edition is a facsimile, the original 1:1 aspect ratio of the 1968 book was kept in these pages.
