WET: The Magazine of Gourmet Bathing and Beyond was founded by Leonard Koren in 1976 and ran through 1981, publishing 34 issues bi-monthly. Groundbreaking in its visual and intellectual content, WET defined the look of the New Wave by flawlessly merging music, fashion, culture, and esoteric writings in a hip package. This issue is the “Wet Religion Issue”, featuring “My Life in Art” by Leonard Cohen, a feature on Nico, an informative spread on Nikola Tesla, an editorial on world religions, and a centerfold spread of WET staffers recreating The Last Supper in a photo collage.
